Kylie Minogue | Tension Tour 2025 & Festival Dates | Official Discussion

Recommended Posts

I’m just glad I’m not spending my time trying to get tickets for this first leg of the tour, as Ticketmaster has been a complete joke recently. I wish everyone luck on Wednesday alex1

How come they haven’t Kylie Announced the venue?

They're probably looking at three venues and are deciding.

Araneta Coliseum (where she had the Aphrodite Live Tour), Mall of Asia Arena or the Philippine Arena (where Olivia Rodrigo will perform her Silver Ticket tour where she's selling all her tickets for about twenty six dollars regardless of where you will seat, if your unlucky you get the general admission seats.)

Hopefully, she chooses the Coliseum or Mall of Asia Arena because Philippine Arena has the worse placement, no parking areas, transport is a total bitch and just too far from the city.

Also, she has better chances of selling out the two other venues.

If you have never seen her, you should try to go if the tickets are not too too expensive. I have a feeling this may be her last tour to Manila. I would love to see her again but I doubt she will do a Vancouver show. ny10

3 New Dates in Australia added kylie6

Following the sold-out successes of the initial dates, Frontier Touring has announced additional concerts in Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney for Kylie Minogue’s highly anticipated ‘Tension Tour’ in 2025. This expansion comes in response to outstanding demand during the Telstra presale, leading to an extension of what promises to be one of the most notable tours in recent years.

As part of the ‘Tension Tour’, these additional shows include a third night at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on 22 February, an extra night at Brisbane’s Entertainment Centre scheduled for 27 February, and a third gig at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on 3 March.

Ticket sales have now kicked off, with the Kylie.com and Frontier Touring member pre-sales underway. This will be followed by general public ticket sales from October 2nd. Tickets are expected to sell out quickly.

Saw the Aphrodite Live tour and it was an extremely scaled down show, The props were a choice as well. I'll see if I can produce the money to spend on a concert but with the current economy, I'm not keeping my hopes up unless she pulls an olivia and do shows under thirty dollars but I doubt she'll scale down her prices much like she scaled down her Asian shows.

You are right. The ticket prices that I have seen are very rich (I haven’t seen the prices for Asia). If she comes near me and that could be Seattle, I may not be able to go, either. I don’t need front row tickets or VIP passes, just 2 seats in the stands will do. I saw her last during her X2009 North American Tour and it was well done and floor seats for about $70 a ticket. I think those days are over. ny10

Despite adding 3 more dates in Australia - only one has sold out. kylie9

According to Aussie fans that can access Ticketek AU, almost all dates are close to sold out (except a few single tickets left).

154,000 tickets sold for the 10 dates kylie6

Already glitchy. I went to register at AEG Presents for the pre-sale and never got the 4 digit code to verify my account registration - so that’s no help. kylie2

Finally got the code when I waited until their system got caught up.

So does that means that it's doing well?

I was not expecting her to do an arena tour over there. I was sure she was going to do a theater tour like with Aphrodite Live.

But hey, I hope it sells out because those arenas a pretty big and America has been sleeping on her since she debuted.

I think the registration for pre-sale was oversubscribed to the point of crashing AEG’s verification system - so that is a good sign of demand from fans. kylie6

I was surprised by the size and venues picked for this tour. In 2009 she did arenas but only the back end. This time it’s the whole arena! I don’t know how she is going to sell a few of the venues…like Orlando.

Kylie sold 30k copies of Tension in the US. Target had a special edition which they didn’t even ship to their stores instead did online sales only with it and now they are trying to bundle them in with Tension II in Australia - and they think Kylie will sell 300k tickets? kylie9

Not to be pessimistic but I think she will do well but not exactly sell out. I can see her selling out  MSG and possibly Toronto.

Are all the seats open or is there a limited amount like 10k seats?

Spoiler

I hope she sells her Asian dates too. I mean Thailand and Philippines, made her go number 1 and 2 respectively in the iTunes charts.

I was actually ready to throw all my money at her even at the nosebleed seats but when I found out the it was on a Monday, I cried a little. There was no way that I can see her and go to work the next day.

I believe all seats are open. For Vancouver, the capacity is 17,500 which consists of seats and standing areas but I believe for this tour, there will be no standing tickets. Luckily, the Vancouver date is a Saturday - which is perfect cause I have to travel to get there.  But…if tickets are too expensive, I may not go cause I have to factor in travel costs and a hotel into the total…gaga12

I found out that the Vancouver tickets are reasonable:

TICKET PRICES - (Standard tickets)

$60.50 - $195.50 CAD

the design is awful which means it's definitely real   Wonder if theyll announce upon album release or the week after? Maybe try to tie a presale code with the album so gays snatch one last

We get More Than Just a Residency live album.

Tbh its time to see her finally, she won't come to my country because KMO Tour was such a flop here so they won't waste money coming back here again but as long its not 2023 cos im broke after Madonna
