The cinematography is stunning. Up there with Stop Making Sense for me in terms of it's visual presentation. 

And yes the energy is amazing. I didn't have people up and dancing but we all sang, did the chants, cheered, and applauded. It was an amazing experience. 

I'd say about a third of the crowd actually regularly did this, and even more at the last song which is more than I had anticipated. There was also a guy at the beginning outlining what to and not to do, and he mentioned that dancing was OK so I'm sure that encouraged more people to do it. I actually overheard a couple of girls in the row behind me telling the people nearest to them that they had bought a couple of extra seats between them to make it easier to dance  

 

Did you see the previews tailored to the audience? There was one for Mean Girls: The Musical that said "You're here for the musical event of the year...." and another for Trolls Band Together that started with "Hey Swifties..." which I thought was interesting, I don't remember ever seeing ones like that before.

I bought another ticket for Friday  This’ll be the first movie I’ve seen twice during its theatrical run since The Force Awakens

Went to see it yesterday and there was NO poster, NO cup and NO bucket. The movie however a 10/10.
