I know you all are not coming for one of the most successful and talented artists of the 2000s. His hits speak for themselves (more hits than some of the faves can dream of to be perfectly honest), but his stage presence absolutely stomps on the vast majority of other choices they could've made. The setlist is going to be incredible (I mean how it can not be with 9 #1 hits to choose from) and the performance will be as well. 

This is long, long overdue. He should've had it way before now, but with Confessions--one of the most successful albums of all time mind you--turning 20 next year, it's a great way to celebrate. 

This is going to be the best halftime show we've had since Shakira/JLo, perhaps one of the best we've ever had full stop. Only befitting of one of the 2000s few deserving legends.

I guess you're right. I think he could've headlined it a decade ago but I feel like this is overdue enough.
