I'll riot if this isn't a sequel to folklore/evermore alex1

ill riot if it is a sequel. i need a new direction. i need creativity. not a rehash for a third album.

It’s so boring cry9

The anthology part I would kind of agree. I'm having a terrible time trying to decipher which songs out of the total 31 to make a condensed 15 track album and every song sounds like either folkmore or the midnights version of 1989

On first listen: The album is generally pretty good, although nothing particularly groundbreaking. It's incredibly wordy, which would not be a problem if so much of the album didn't sound sound so.. monotone, which I'm thinking is a Jack Antonoff problem.

He's generally a pretty good producer, but unless he's gonna bring the energy from NFR! and Dance Fever, he can keep it. A lot of these tracks would have been better with a different production. Cohesion is good, but too cohesive is a problem. There's also a bit too much meat on the album, I think having 8-10 less tracks would actually benefit the album.

Between the wordiness, the production the blends together and the album being 31 tracks long, I just feel.. exhausted after listening bebe1 I don't have that kind of attention span for anything, Miss Swift! Hopefully this album grows a lot on me, I'm seeing people saying it finally hit them after 2-3 listens.
