TTPD & Eternal Sunshine: which one is the better break up album?

Recommended Posts

For me, it has a number of reasons.
1 - Hype. This is Ariana's first release since positions so the hype was huge. And the album lived up to that as well. Taylor was constantly and everywhere, only just released Midnights and already another album. It's a little too much in my opinion.
2 - Sound. Ariana's album is totally different from what she's done on Positions, but you know it's Ariana. TTPD could easily be folklore/evermore/midnight outtakes at this point.
3 - Length of album. Although I would have liked a few more songs on Ariana's album, the album is uncluttered, clear and it doesn't last too long. TAYLOR'S ALBUM LASTS 2 FUCKING HOURS. 31 songs. All of which sound the same. I can't.
I'm a Swiftie but I'm disappointed in this album. Let me stream eternal sunshine for a bit more. Almost 2000 plays on last.fm hunties!

I may not like Ariana but Eternal Sunshine wins, production wise and vocals wise. Plus she did not try to monopolize the industry so that's a win for her.

ES is a potential album of the year but it will likely be bought by Tayolr Shit...again.

The Carbon Emissions Department is as mediocre as all the albums that the mediocre white woman released in the last ten years. Beyotch is so revenge oriented and competitive that her lack of foresight when it comes to sustainability should be studied. Plus, she acts all feminist and girl's girl when it only benefits her branding. Ick.

People only target Taylor for “monopolizing the industry” because she’s good at her job (making and selling albums). Every other artist does the variant thing. Every other artist uses the same industry standard marketing tactics. Taylor just gets the spotlight since she’s so effective. I chuckle when I read stupid takes like that.

The way I loved both albums but when it comes to production, Eternal Sunshine wins
