In Canada they mandate that more than a third of the music they play has to be Canadian with the remainder being almost entirely USA and to a much lesser extent the UK, so sometimes I'm slightly weirded out to realize that virtually nobody else outside of the country knows who some artists are, the reverse usually doesn't happen
