It's because of the VMA's. Tbh it it was my show I would be pretty pissed, but I do understand why she pivoted to cater to the exposure of playing the VMA's. It's a natural next step for her rise to superstardom. I just wish her team was better at handling these things. She could have canceled those shows weeks ago?

The problem with the VMAs is that they are so last minute with booking talent. I get that the VMAs are a publicity slot but her fans are worth more in the end. There will be other TV shows and other award shows and for this reason Chappell will have to deal with this novice error.  aretha1
