I literally saw her giving interview on the red carpet when she said it's her own project

I assumed she wanted to do like her own take on Harley not limited by movie constructs and its album full of jazz covers and musial numbers of which some are in the movie as well and i think 2 of her own songs

I’m not either. 

The concept is indulgent and the visuals do not give any clue that it’s a “show tunes” cover album. In fact the opposite. I think a lot of people will be upset except the delusional stans that love everything she shits out. I mean, not even Kylie would attempt to pull this crap on her fans. It should have never been a part of The Joker promotional cycle and instead dropped as a one off album with no connection to her Harley character.

Its a total cash grab no matter how you look at it.

This is not a cash grab because she said every song appears on the film except for Happy Mistake (which is also a Gaga written original)

Though idk WHERE she thought that this record was something completely new and different for Gaga? It's literally a more Traditional Pop approach to her Jazz albums (which are also cover albums)

Best song though is The Joker. Gaga ate on that one.
