I'm so nauseous right now. This election shouldn't have been close. What the fuck is wrong with the US? Like actually. An incompetent racist, rapist felon who doesn't even know how fucking tariff works. Really? January 6 didn't wake them up? He shouldn't even be allowed to run for president again.

There is, but the path is narrow. It's all gonna come down to Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania. She needs to win all 3 of them, if she loses any it's basically over. The problem is Trump is currently leading in all of them.

We can also hope for a surprise flip or two, Biden was also losing at this point in 2020. Trump was leading all the battleground states (as he is right now), and one by one he lost them. 2024 turnout is looking to be the highest in history.. there are still a LOT of votes to be counted.

I'm TERRIFIED of what this means for the world. Ukraine, Palestine, Taiwan.. we're setting off on a very dangerous path.

And Americans themselves aren't safe either. Republicans now also have a good chance of taking the House. There is going to be nothing stopping Project 2025 from taking over. The Supreme Court is going to be so skewed that we're not going to recover for decades, and possibly not even in our lifetime.

All we can hope is that this is a bad early call and there is an eleventh hour miracle for Kamala. But unlike 2020, there is no pandemic anymore, and there's no large amounts of Democratic mail-in ballots to save the day. It just looks terrible right now.

God I really hope that PA call is wrong.

1.7 million mail-in ballots requested in Pennsylvania this year.. which I'm pretty sure is more than ever. They can't be processed until election day, so they're going to be opened and counted in real-time. There's the hope that these could swing PA back but there's no pandemic and we don't know how many of these ballots are Democratic exactly, although we do know that Republicans are far less likely to trust mail-in ballots and would rather show up at the polling station.

I’ve sincerely had a near-death experience that I was less hopeful was going to be a bad dream than this. There are no words to convey what a disappointment this is. I’ve read multiple articles in the past couple of weeks about literal teenage girls who miscarried and proceeded to die after being turned away by the medical system thanks to a man they were never even had the chance to vote against (and crushingly, never will).

Trump is already giving his victory speech. Because of course he is.

Current electoral vote tally based on calls (270 to win):

• Donald Trump: 267
• Kamala Harris: 214

I really don't know how the US, and the world, is going to come back from this. Like where do we go from here? The last Trump presidency started a wave of politicians with Trumpian values taking office all over the world. We're supposed to have that.. again? We barely made it out last time. 

This is a nightmare.
