Funny, just last week she dropped out of the top 40 album chart in the UK for the first time since The Fame was released in 2009.

That's not true the fame left the top 40 one week in 2009, and did so various times before the release of BTW. And BTW exited the top 40 just before her x factor performance for a week or so
