Started a week ago but finished it now gaga4

The Born This Way Ball

Intro film:

Gaga was taken to a castle on a very big cloudy mountain. While she is sitting in the car she talks to the driver, but the driver doesn’t react.

On stage:

A car comes up the stage and stops. Gaga gets thrown out of the car and the car leaves. She then talks to the little monsters. It’s her castle but she doesn’t know how she can open it. A sign next to the door gives a hint: “You can only enter this castle if you feel free and good about yourself”. Gaga then takes her clothes off, so she’s almost naked. She only wears some sort of plastic, see-through, dress.

My new set list, different from the original one:

THE BORN THIS WAY BALL TOUR

Act I: Launch

Gaga begins her journey to success, starting off with the church bells of New York (Marry the Night), growing into her dreams for the future (LoveGame, Just Dance) and her personality (Americano, Bad Kids).

01. Marry the Night

02. LoveGame + Just Dance

03. Americano

04. Bad Kids

INTERLUDE: A positive atmosphere (with elements of The Fame and Boys Boys Boys) twisted into dark horrors, including some scenes of the Marry the Night music video (with elements of Paper Gangsta).

Act II: Hallucination

She experiences rejection from her first attempt and breaks down in facing the truth of what has happened (Teeth, Monster). She loses confidence in herself (Dance in the Dark) and feels useless, losing her spirit and turning into an empty shell (Government Hooker).

05. Teeth / Monster

06. Dance in the Dark

07. Government Hooker

INTERLUDE: Soft whispers that represent her conflicting thoughts, and she eventually decides to step up and fight on (with elements of The Queen).

Act III: Tenacity

She feels powerful and determined again. At first she is not used to her surroundings after her breakdown (Alejandro, Telephone), but her objectives become clear (Black Jesus † Amen Fashion, Bloody Mary), and she feels empowered to strive for her goals again (Highway Unicorn (Road to Love)), despite what happens in relationships with others (Heavy Metal Lover).

08. Alejandro + Telephone

09. Black Jesus † Amen Fashion

10. Bloody Mary

11. Highway Unicorn (Road to Love)

12. Heavy Metal Lover

INTERLUDE: Abstract representations of passion and regained joy (with elements of So Happy I Could Die).

Act IV: Combat

Her fight for success and liberation continues, falling in love along the way (Yoü and I, Paparazzi), but those she loves encounters trouble (Speechless, Fashion of His Love / Living on the Radio / Stuck on Fuckin' You). She feels a slight sense of losing her way again, not being able to express her identity (acoustic version of Hair begins, stopping halfway into interlude).

13. Yoü and I

14. Paparazzi

15. Speechless

16. Fashion of His Love / Living on the Radio / Stuck on Fuckin' You (alternating between each show)

17. Hair (acoustic)

INTERLUDE: Representations of her strive for freedom, expressed through her identity. Elements of Hair and its concept is incorporated into the clip.

Act V: Freedom

Her passion comes rushing back as she finally achieves what she has long aspired to reach (album version of Hair replaces acoustic version), and people begin to support her (Electric Chapel). Her success breaks records (Poker Face, Bad Romance) and she finally feels liberated (Born This Way) and overjoyed and satisfied with herself (The Edge of Glory), remembering her grandfather. Story ends.

17. Hair (album version)

18. Electric Chapel

19. Poker Face

20. Bad Romance
