I love the verses in Artpop, Manicure, Applause and Swine better than the choruses.

I only prefer the chorus on Sex Dreams.

 

To answer the OP, I don't think the intro of Swine really fits with the song.

Yes, I fucking love it. It is what makes the song for me tbh. The very slow piano-only beginning, then the best part of the song - the first "SWINE", then the build-up to the rock song and then the big electro clash. So amazing and probably the most creative we have seen Gaga yet.

No, I'd rather she put effort into it and actually tried to speak German. The fact that she says "I CAN if you like" should mean she can do it but it seems more like a joke. I end up skipping it every time which is a shame.

Obviously she could have if she wanted to, it's a part of the song where she's basically saying she can't speak German but she'll fake it if they want her to. I love the faux-German.
