Is this going to be Gaga's worst era ever?

sis, she's just getting started tho. We've only seen like 3 (?) performances and a couple of interviews. We haven't seen shit yet, and I feel like Gaga has some crazy shit up her sleeve. I honestly feel like the ARTPOP era is going to last a very long time. Not only that, but it's going to be one of her most memorable. The music is out of this world & the concept behind ARTPOP, imo, is brilliant. The thing is, I trust Gaga 100%. Gaga is incredibly smart, she is a master of fame. She knows EXACTLY what she's gotta do to make this era HUGE.  I wouldn't worry if I was you sis. sass1

Yas, i'm excited as to what she has in store. She kept it cute for the public and i'm ready for her to come back and wow us again. She has many singles choices (G.U.Y, Sexxx Dreams, MANiCURE, Gypsy, ARTPOP, and maybe even Fashion!). 

 

If she was able to dig herself out of the grave society put her in after the BTW era, I think Gaga is fine. I mean Applause is ha biggest hit on the radio to date and will have lasted 3 months fall5

 

Do What You Want will take forever to smash, but when it does i'll be ready. I cannot wait till the end of November / December cry7

 

now we just need details about that app and her documentary :creep:

Yea, I know she can turn it around and make things feel more captivating and cohesive. I just suppose I was expecting more control and organization after the messy Born This Way era, but instead it just feels like an extension of it. I'm not saying it's bad, but in relation to other Gaga eras, it just feels off (and I attribute that to a sense of her rushing more than she should have due to her injury.) The music is on point - some of the best she's ever done - but I feel like there's no denying the era has seemed a little messy and lackluster so far (it could change quite quickly though.)

Tbh so far the only song that has impressed me is Swine fall3.gif' alt='fall2'> but I give her credit for trying new shit even if it's not always as polished as it could be imo.

 

The biggest downfall of the era so far is the lyrics dead2 she's never been a lyrical master but this era they're really weak. Still gonna give the rest of the album a shot though because I want to like her again but it's just not happening yet

Yeah, this time her lyrics are just not that great. I think she's going for abstract impressionism, especially considering her costumes. She literally records an "energy" or "train of thought" ala that Ambrovic chick that meditates with her.

 I think it was just spaced out weird. Born This Way era promo was perfect cause sis was everywhere. Legit you couldn't escape ha.

 

These past three months she let the music speak for itself and didn't shove her face down our throats. I admire that effort, but maybe it could've been a bit tighter perhaps. I know she loves to take her time between the first single & the album, but maybe next era mix it up and do like TFM (BR in October, TFM in November).

 

I'm not worried at all. She'll have many more performances and I do see a grammy performance (whether at the nominee special or the show) and performances at more major music events.

Maybe one day when Gaga decides to allow 76 writers to help her on tracks, she can achieve the lyrical prowess of such lines as:

 

"Do you ever feel like a plastic bag"

 

"I wanna see your peacock, cock, cock"

 

"This is how we do, do, do, do"

 

"Grabbin' tacos checkin' out hotties"

 

Or 

 

"Stop, stop, stop, talkin' that blah blah blah"

 

"I threw up in the closet, I don't care"
