I thought you all care about charts and sales, where are your heads flying into? Let me remind you that Katy Perry debuted with a massive lead single and totally promoted while Gaga came up with a single that had longevity that is actually charting till now and raising up to the charts. Selling less than 20k-30k from a female artist that had a massive first single is actually pretty good. Plus like y'all are predicting that Prism is going to have longevity, so is ARTPOP and Applause its first lead single just definitely proves that.

 

tl;dr Monsters called Prism a flop because it had a massive smash single (frontloaded) while Gaga climbed up dem charts flawlessly peaking at #4 and today still at the Hot 100 top ten. Actually passed roar on the pop radio. Check them charts u silly katy fans
