Didn't you pimp me it beh-4 we were Friends.boxset jay1

It was low-key unexciting, and the latest season's theme, though important, is nothing to write home about jay1

I had such hopes for American Gods, but it's episode 3 and it disappeared up its own ass already jj4

The only thing I remembered, although I only watched it yesterday, was an ultra-huge dick of that genie guy jay1

What are some other TV shows that you like? Usually recommending shows is an area of strength for me but I haven't seen either of those so rip4

Eh, I wasn't huge on TV until the last 6 months to a year so not too many. I have watched Shameless as well, and I'm thinking maybe starting OITNB after I finish Sense8. I like stuff that's a mixture of drama/comedy/mystery mostly.

Hmm, maybe you'd enjoy Fargo (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2802850/)? I wasn't a huge fan of it personally, but I seem to be in the minority on that one and it definitely qualifies big time for all three of those genres.

I'm currently in the process of watching Twin Peaks (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0098936/) which is also a mixture of those three, and Kyle MacLachlan is a standout.

Riverdale (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt5420376/) is a recent one that isn't too heavy on the comedy, but has the drama and the mystery down.

The Lone Gunmen (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0243069/) lasted but a season, but it's pretty funny and its approach to mysteries take single episodes rather than seasons to flesh out. It's a spin-off of The X-Files (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0106179/), which you also may like if you enjoy science-fiction, but if you don't wanna watch that too I don't think it'll seriously harm your understanding of The Lone Gunmen.

Dexter (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0773262/) is another to consider, but be warned that they seriously shit the bed in the later seasons. Seasons one and four are the best of the show, IMO.

I've seen practically nothing of it (I'd like to someday), but Moonlighting (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088571/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1) is the original show that popularized comedy-drama series, and it centers around a detective agency so there's your mystery!

Some other possibilities:

Lost (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0411008/)

Veronica Mars (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0412253/)

Freaks and Geeks (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0193676/)

I've heard of some of these, are any of them on Netflix?

I doubt The Lone Gunmen is and season 3 of Fargo might be a bit new, but most and maybe even all of the others probably are, yea.

I miss talking to you, when will our nerd love make a comeback jay1

I always thought Lone Gunmen brought nothing serious to the series. They only work in episodes like Dreamland, but a spin-off... jay1 I watched Millenium and loved it because I stan things like that, I also loooved True Detective season 1, but I was pretty pissed they managed to make a crossover with LG on the episode Jump the Shark, which is not only SHIT, but I was like "Do I have to watch this trash to understand who the hell is that girl that searches for killer shark fins or whatever" rip2
