How so? I'm the only person here who gave a valid reciept....

I dare anyone to prove me wrong. No one has yet. You can go have a seat in BG where you belong.

Oh really? IS THE OXFORD ENGLISH DICTIONARY A VALID ENOUGH RECEIPT FOR YOU?  xtina5

And I will say again, English is a language that was created by West Germanic people who invaded and moved to England and it was there that the English language was born. You seem to have gotten very confused between the nationality of the people who created it, and the location in which they created it.

FINALLY you give me some type of receipt smh. Now we're getting somewhere.

Now, thats a good point. Only problem with it is that theres no certainty about it ONLY cause they didn't keep track that far back. BUT, If it was indeed the Anglo Saxons who began speaking it, then they HAD to have been speaking it before they invaded England, unless they didn't speak at all before, but I think its safe to assume that they had SOME sort of language to communicate with each other. Doubt they would have started a whole new language instead of just speaking what they were speaking before. So theres always that chance.

You could have gave me this a long time ago and we would have had a better discussion but nooo, you wanted to go receiptless...learn how to debate.
