We've all had tracks that we've thought are just on endless loop on radio stations, but this is taking the mickey. iHeartRadio is going to play Pharrell Williams's worldwide smash 'Happy' on a loop. For 13 days.

The stunt, which is being used to promote the United Nations Foundation's International Day of Happiness, has already started and will conclude on March 31.

The International Day of Happiness is about pursuing "a more inclusive, equitable and balanced approach to economic growth that promotes sustainable development, poverty eradication, happiness and the well-being of all peoples".

A cause that would make even hearing the same track on loop for 13 days feel worthwhile.

The Pharrell stunt is a step up from San Francisco's 105.7, who recently tormented treated listeners to Nelly's classic pop hit 'Hot In Herre' for three days in a row.

One way to get through 13 days of Pharrell quite easily would be to watch the following video of the World Indoor Bowls Championship, where his track was used to 'warm up' the crowds. It never fails to make us smile.
