I feel the same as the OP. Butterfly is probably my favorite, but Daydream is right up there with it. Everything she's done is great in my opinion though!!

UGH it's hard to choose one album over the other because each one has such outstanding tracks I can't live without.  I'm tempted to pick Emancipation because it was the first album of hers I listened to and it has that nostalgic feeling for me.  Butterfly is her most personal and emotional and the lyrics are among her best.  Daydream has that classic pop masterpiece feel.  And her debut has those vocals that conquered the world.  Meh =/

It has to be Daydream for me. That entire album from start to finish is amazing. Not one song I want to skip. Everytime I hear the first notes of Always Be My Baby, I get chills. Forever is one of my favorite songs. I love her Daydream tour live renditions of it.

 

I'll never forgive the Grammy's for being so rotten to her, especially with that masterpiece album.
