so this is like a standard to beat now? um2

Not really, but it is amazing.

Billboard:

Elvis Presley managed 12 entries in the top 40 following his death in 1977, and the Beatles achieved 11 simultaneous top 40 entries with their 2009 album reissues. Madonna had three albums in the top 40 in 1987, and she featuring heavily on the Who’s That Girl soundtrack which appeared in the top 40 at the time. Following their untimely deaths in 2011 and 2012, respectively, Amy Winehouse and Whitney Houston saw two of their albums simultaneously enter the top 10 and top 75. And Joan Baez was a force on the chart for several weeks in the summer of 1965 with three albums in the top 20.

According to this, Kate is the only person who succeeded  to have a lot of albums on charts while being alive and still having a career. Madonna will surpass her, but not during her life.

I think you misunderstood.  This isn't about an artist with most albums or artists who had good positions on charts through history. It is about an artist who succeeded to have 11 albums in top 50 at the same time.

You only need 3.000-4.000 to crack top 20 and 1.500 for top 40 so it's not big deal

It is a big deal, because these things doesn't happen often. If they were new albums, maybe it wouldn't be a big surprise, but albums from past ruling modern charts is very interesting.
