Last night's episode was intense.  But, the thing is,

many say that Alyssa made a smart choice by keeping Katya, as the social media feedback would have been really bad towards her. I mean, Katya's fanbase is probably ten times bigger than Ginger's. But actually, even if Alyssa would have eliminated Katya, she really would be the only person eligible to do so, because both of Katya and Alyssa are the same caliber.

I mean, I am VERY happy that it was Katya who was spared, but even if Alyssa kept Ginger, I wouldn't be that mad.

Either way, it will be very interesting to see how

I do find it fair that Ginger was the one to go for various reasons:

- Katya's part was probably the one where most people could know if something was off. What I mean is, Lady Di being the most recent character played, is the one most people know about. We know how way she dressed, the way she acted and about her personality. You couldn't be THAT comical with a character based in a person as respected and honored as Lady Di, because it could be taken as an offense. So Katya's part was probably the hardest.

- About the runway, it's free to personal taste. I didn't like Ginger's or Katya's runway looks, but Ginger's dress looked so weird and the shape was off. Katya's look kinda reminded me of those 80's shows that tried to imagine how people would dress in the future. It was UGLY but I actually saw her "Futuristic Mom" vision.

Ru was even like "She's the only one up here who we know and saw, whereas everyone else was completely up to interpretation", which I think was a good point. She had constraints that the others didn't.

Alyssa gave me all I needed from this season, I needed an elimination that wasn't all "I was going by what the judges would do." NO! They're giving you the power to do something, not something like they would do it, that's the twist and I'm so happy Alyssa went with her heart and chose to save Katya, who did not deserve to leave to soon. Thank you queen. I can't wait for the others to go after her, though. This is what I wanted, DRAMA, Ginger wanting to come for Alyssa if she returns yas.

This challenge was bad, really bad. They gave them the script of what they were going to lipsync, they gave them choreography, they gave them the outfits, what was left for them to do? When you see the big picture of it, Alyssa's part in the performance was MUCH more exciting than Katya's by default, there was nothing either could do to balance it out, which is why I think it was a bit unfair, and again, I'm glad Alyssa went with her own opinion, especially in this challenge. Not to mention, she looked gorgeous on the lipsync.

Alright I have quite a few feelings about this season so far

- First of all, thank fucking God above that Coco went first. I have hated her from day one on her season. At least she didn't look like Donald Trump's fucking spray tan in All Stars. Her makeup in her season was a joke.

- Why the FUCK wasn't Phi Phi in the bottom three last week???? Granted, her runway this week was amazing (even if I still hate her), but that Katy Perry at the beach bullshit was horrible. From the makeup to the outfit.

- I love Tati but her snatch game was weak. Ariana Grande isn't the best choice to begin with, and she didn't do it well (however the look was AMAZING).

- I disagreed with almost everything in this episode. Detox had an INCREDIBLE runway, but her performance in the challenge was terrible. She wasn't in sync with the words???? That jaw thing can't get you everywhere. Alyssa deserved to be in the top, always loved her.

- This elimination was hard as I love Kayta, but Ginger is one of my FAVORITES and I still think she should've won her season. Ginger had that fire to stay, and Katya just seemed very defeated and out of it. Also, I get that Di is the more recognizable character, Ru made a valid point, but she had a bad performance and a bad runway. Ginger had an amazing performance and a bad runway. I didn't want either gone, but I would've gone with Katya out of the two.

Given the awful edit she's getting, plus the spoilers from Alaska's ex, I have little doubt that Phi Phi's going to sashay away next week. She probably would've been in the bottom this week if not for her runway.

Some of what Phi Phi is doing is editing, a lot of that is obvious, but she's still an ugly (not just talking about her makeup) manipulative person.

 

I'm glad with who won the week and who was sent home,

I'm also glad they didn't just go by the judge's critiques and used the power to do what they wanted.

This was another challenge where, given what character you had to play, you could've been screwed from the start.

 

Some parts, regardless of who has them, just aren't the best material and don't stand out.

And they weren't chosen at random but by Rupaul and his team and a few of the choices were suspect

Katya's role wasn't really as equal since there isn't much to do performance-wise or even experiment with the outfit. It's also not like they make up their own stuff so. Ginger's runway was completely awful, possibly her worst look ever and while Katya's wasn't that good either, it didn't scream dollar store. Alyssa was the only entertaining part of the challenge.
