I'm so ready for Season 9, All Stars was altogether an amazing season of Drag Race, and I hope this season is just as good.

The production schedule has been in flux for the last few seasons, partly as a result of All Stars doubling the length of filming required for the year and partly to account for changes in the show's format (Shade Tree, the new Untucked format, etc.).

It's not too random, they're almost always released around Q1 of the year after they're shot. AS2 was the only exception in a while because it was shot directly after S8 and they couldn't have two airing at the same time.

It's so weird how people act so quiet and unartistic on drag race and then when they leave they're like a completely different person.

Who do yall think will be on AS3 considering the queens we have? It probably won't even happen for another 4 seasons though.

I would say Laganja (She was suppose to be AS2), Trixie, a queen from Season 2/3, Acid Betty, Laila, and probably some queens from season 9, 10, 11 and 12. Who knows though

Thorgy, Acid Betty and Laganja would be ideal locks. Maybe a couple lower-finishing choices like Milk, Gia and Ongina too. Beyond that, I think it would be mostly queens from future seasons.

Love them all, but yea I'm sure they'll mostly be from upcoming seasons as the most noticeable all stars from past seasons were already from season 5/7 and all the others before them.

Kim honestly didn't do that well on Season 8 and would have a lot to lose if she returned for an All Stars season. BenDeLaCreme is a good example of the type of queen that Kim Chi resembles, story-wise; both went far and became fan favorites, but I don't think either has the potential to win any season they're on, unless the bar is relatively low.

I guess, i just thought her style was so different and creative and was surprised she didn't win. (not really against bob tbh) I feel like she could evolve her personality to make her part in AS3 even better than she was in S8. But I could really see someone like Betty or Chi Chi taking her place because of the funkiness they have + their personalities.

We should be getting the Cast RuVeal any day now and they generally schedule that so it's several weeks before the season starts, so late February maybe?
