I would love her to do something like Back to Basics. Like proper 20s/30s/4os throwback

 

Seems like she's doing more of a '50s/'60s thing this time. Born To Die had a lot of '90s trip-hop flare, Paradise was raw in that '80s sort of way and Ultraviolence was kinda '70s bluesy, so it makes sense that she'd step back just one more decade. moo1

How is that a terribly written song if it actually has a catchy melody and a rather elaborate chorus that doesn't only consist of the title repeated over and over.   That said, I agree with you on
