SEASONS is Ayu's second-best selling single, after "A", with sales of 1.3 million copies. It also tallied her highest first week sales for a single: it sold 552,730 copies in its first week and debuted at number one in Japan.

 

SEASONS was the theme song to Tenkiyohō no Koibito, a popular drama show around the time of its release. It was also in a video game called Daigasso! Band Brothers and was part of the soundtrack to Avex's play Kokoro no Kakera.
