for the past few weeks, roar had been gaining views faster than Dark Horse, but it appears DH is having none of that. The dark horse freight train has once again picked up speed. Since April 2, Dark Horse has gained 6.25 million views, while Roar has picked up 5.95 million views.

The race to 1 Billion has gotten HOT this week.  With Dark Horse's cross over the 900m mark, the amount of views that both Roar and Dark Horse have picked up this week have sky rocketed.  in the 7 days since these numbers were last updated, Dark Horse has gained 10,514,022 views (1.16%), while Roar has gained 10,989,822 views (1.25%).  HOWEVER.  Since April 2nd when Dark Horse officially hit 900 million, Dark Horse has gained more views since Roar has. These two tracks are neck and neck in gains, so unless Roar has a huge spike and starts narrowing the gap, Dark Horse is still on course to be the first video by a female artist to hit 1 Billion views.

Those two aren't the biggest gainers of the week, though.

This Is How We Slay continues to fly up the most viewed charts this week, moving up 3 places on the all time most viewed chart from 99 to 96, and remaining the biggest percentage gained video of the week at 2.17% with 6,113,737 views in the last 7 days.

Birthday saw another spike over the Easter weekend, giving the lyric video a well timed rebirth with a 1.1 million view increase (1.24%) and a 3 position rise in the all-time most viewed list from 545 to 542.  Additionally, the lyric video crossed over the 500,000 likes threshold this week. Unconditionally (+1) and California Gurls (+3) also rose in position on the all-time most viewed chart, giving us a total of 4 videos that rose on that chart this week.

One video has been added to the stats list: John Mayer's Who You Love.

There are currently 13 videos that are still gaining 1 million+ views a week:

Roar - 10,989,822
Dark Horse - 10,514,022
This is How We Do - 6,113,737
Last Friday Night - 3,573,195

note: I know this artwork isn't from the video but I already had this made and I was crunched for time to get this post updated before RISE premiered.  I'll make a new one soon. ROAR | RELEASED S
