Britney reached #2 against competition, just because it's a different climate don't act as though Gaga couldn't get #2 as well if she had the fan support like she used to and the GP backing like she used to, just, unlike Britney, the fans/gp didn't allow her to have a top top peaking lead single in the UK in their 4th era!

It's ok Gaga had managed to get 4 UK #1s in just one year (2009) while it took Britney 5 years (1999-2004) to have the same amount as Gaga.

 

+ The UK appreciates and loves Gaga more than Britney considering 3 out of her 4 albums hit #1 while Britney's 9 albums failed to become #1. 

 

 

Also The Fame is inside the UK's top 60 best selling albums of all time (#30).

NBC blacklisted the show, it doesn't matter who promoted what more the fact is, after what, less than a week? Katy's 2 month old non lead single is selling better than Gaga's. Know THAT
