I think she got lucky, lucky, lucky with “DISCO Extended” -  I don’t see Tension Extended or Remixed in her Vegas Cards cause it’s not like Padam/Tension Extended singles sold much or had any lasting interest. We demand a companion Side B album at minimum

I don’t often modify Kylie’s albums but with my digital files, I think I have settled on a track run that works for me, and yes, some tracks have been deleted

I’m sure I had heard some of her stuff before, but considering that her biggest US hit (CGYOOMH) dropped when I was 8, my exposure was limited lol

 

I picked up a copy of X in Europe on vacation the summer of 2008 and fell in love, Aphrodite was even better (Confessions on a Dancefloor was the best album I had ever heard up to that point, so it makes sense), and KMO had its moments but was kinda disappointing on the whole.

 

It wasn’t until Golden that I actually went back and listened to her whole catalogue outside of the hits, and Light Years & Rhythm of Love quickly became two of my most streamed albums from any artist. Disco has had me in a complete chokehold for 3 years, and Tension is shaping up to be a favorite as well (especially since this will be my first chance to see her live!)
