I hate that school takes the enjoyment out of reading, tbh. I genuinely enjoy reading, but school makes it not fun, why should I find some sort of symbolism and what not in a book and write a paper on it? Who cares? Can't I just read stuff cause I enjoy it?

lmao school killed every ounce of enjoyment i got out of reading, haven't read a book in about 3 years due to college

 

getting given 100 pages reading to be done for a seminar isn't fun
