I'm reading Night Film by Marisha Pessl. It's an investigation book about the mysterious death of Ashley Cordova, daughter of a famous filmmaker.

I just finished Douglas Hulick's Among Thieves, and I don't recommend this turd. I'm a huge fan of the video game Thief series (minus the reboot  ) and I always wanted to find a book set in a medieval-slash-Victorian fantasy setting, but not dealing with things I don't like, like magic this, princess that. I thought I found it, but the back cover story was really misleading. It's just a standart shit about some Johnny Punch-em-all that gets entangled in a boring "mystery" of a badly-written thieves world located in a generic middle-ages city. Horrible, absurd fictional names, undeveloped world, unlikeable characters

Just finished "Widows of Eastwick" which is a sequel to the Witches of Eastwick, and it's a mess, especially the resolution. The witches are into their 70s now, there are some parts where they're being Ugly Americans abroad, and the ending is basically just
