    She was my second choice behind Florence but after this last season of Ozark - WOW she is a scene stealer and will do this role justice.

    It is possible but I think it would have to be someone who appeals broadly across listeners/demographics - probably somebody not out right now. Someone with the pop culture impact of Gaga, cross-generational appeal of Adele, marketing of Taylor, etc. We are overdue for a new mammoth pop/rock star tbh. Maybe even a group.

    The reception to this has been confusing. I think the album sounds different from his other stuff - definitely more shoegazey and bedroom poppy than his last two records. There's definitely an upbeat element to a lot of the songs but it's not a boring collection of ballads. What I don't get is people just constantly analyzing his artistry and claiming his team is marketing him as ground breaking or genre pushing. Have I missed that or something? I don't think anyone has ever claimed that... even if he said he was inspired by genre pushing artists or iconic acts like David Bowie, Prince, o
